Not many people know this, but I really like to draw.
It's kind of therapeutic to me.
In college, my roommate gave me the most amazing sketchbook for my birthday. It's a canvas cover sketchbook and you can draw on the outside. I keep all of my sketches inside, I love it.

I've got the creative itch. Maybe I'll draw tomorrow.

Almost all of the Florida college's are done with their spring breaks. When you are graduated from college and working a full time job, spring break is every weekend. These past few weekends have been cloudy and rainy so I'm looking forward to a sunny one!! My skin hasn't seen the sun since last spring break and I NEED SOME VITAMIN D! These are my spring 2012 must haves this season:

[1.] NEW Kate Spade "Cooper" Watches! I don't have a square faced watch yet and these come in more colors and options. I like how plain-jane it is, it's a classic piece.
[2.] NEW Chanel "Rouge Coco Lip Baume" Its ultra-soft formula, featuring hydrating conditioner, leaves lips instantly radiant and lastingly moisturized.
[3.] Marysia Swim, I'm lusting all of these bikinis! Picking two from the entire line was so difficult! Give them all a look-over.

Don't you love when your shopping and you see something you love and then you realize..."wait a minute, I can make that!" I've been loving metallic seashells lately and saw these really cute candle holders on One Kings Lane.

I didn't move quick enough and the sale ended :( BUT then I realized I have butt-ugly seashell candle holders that I never use.
It's time to dust these babies off and make them pretty and usable again!
Tip: Never forget that you can change the color of ANYTHING with just a little paint! Look around, do you keep something hidden in the closet because you hate the color? Change it!

I filled them with Yankee Candle "Beach Walk" and can't wait to light them tonight!

Spring is just around the corner! The first official day of spring is March 20th and I'm so ready. We never really had much of a winter here in Florida so we might as well forget about it and bring on the sunshine. My latest weird obsession came just in time for spring. I can't get enough of these Turkish Towels!

Turkish Towels are so versatile! They come in every color imaginable and of course, stripes! Turkish Towels have a light weight weave of cotton and linen that makes them soft and thin. They've been weaved a special way for luxury that has been used for over 1,000 years!

These towels are a very important part of Turkish social life. They were originally meant for ceremonial bath for a bride before her wedding day. They continue to be used for other important occasions because they are considered the ultimate luxury towel.

Reasons why I'm sold:

-Can be used as a wrap-around that's way more comfortable than a thick massive towel

-Perfect size for traveling (spring trip, hello)

-Use it as a sofa throw! They come in all sizes and are still really soft!

-One word: stripes

-Quick drying time & great for the beach (no more stuck sand in your towel)

-Thin material gives you more closet space in your bathroom

-They are just...really pretty (the year of color!)
